Inspiring the Next Generation: Mock Interviews at Saffron Walden County High
At our core, we believe in supporting the local community and helping the professionals of tomorrow find their footing. That’s why last week, our very own Sales Administrator, Caroline Carsberg, stepped away from the office to support the sixth-form students at Saffron Walden County High School.
This marks the second year Caroline has participated in their mock interview program, and we couldn’t be prouder to have her representing us.
Why Caroline is the Perfect Mentor
If you’ve ever worked with us, you know Caroline is a master of communication. On any given day, she is:
- Handling complex customer enquiries.
- Managing intricate internal production schedules.
- Liaising between our clients and the production team.
These “front-line” skills make her uniquely qualified to sit across the table from a student and provide real-world insights into what employers are actually looking for.
A Community Effort
The event, organised by the Saffron Walden Rotary Club in conjunction with the school’s Sixth Form team, is a massive undertaking. The scale of this year’s event was truly impressive:
| The Numbers | Impact |
| 50 Volunteers | From local businesses and organizations. |
| 356 Students | Interviewed over the course of 2 days. |
| 1 Goal | Building confidence and career readiness. |
For many of these students, this is their first ever “formal” interview. It’s natural for nerves to kick in! Caroline and her fellow volunteers focused on putting the students at ease, providing constructive feedback on their CVs, and sharing tips on how to handle “real-life” interview scenarios with confidence
