What is 3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9472LE?

3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9472LE is a 127 µm (approximately 5 mil) high-strength 300LSE acrylic adhesive coated on a 107 µm poly-coated kraft (PCK) liner.

Designed for demanding bonding scenarios, it offers outstanding adhesion to low-surface-energy plastics—like polypropylene—powder coatings, lightly oiled metals, and high-surface-energy substrates. With superior holding power, edge-lifting resistance, and exceptional performance in moisture, solvent, and high-humidity conditions, this tape meets a wide range of automotive and OEM standards. It’s the thicker-profile alternative designed for reliability where thin tapes may not suffice.
