What I Do at RGH
At RGH, John is responsible for developing the Military and Defence sector, working closely with 3M and other key partners. His role is centred on identifying opportunities, building trusted relationships, and ensuring RGH delivers high-performance material solutions that meet stringent defence specifications. Beyond sales, he’s committed to supporting colleagues across the business to achieve shared goals and maintain RGH’s reputation for reliability and quality.

How did you get into the industry?
I’ve been working in the Military and Defence sector since 2010. It’s a field I’ve always found both challenging and rewarding, and it has given me the chance to build long-standing relationships and specialist knowledge that I now bring to RGH.

What’s your background before joining RGH?
My career has always been focused on the Military and Defence sector, where I’ve spent more than a decade building expertise in sales, partnerships, and sector-specific requirements. Joining RGH in 2024 gave me the opportunity to combine that experience with the company’s converting capabilities and strong relationship with 3M.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
One thing I really enjoy about working at RGH is being part of a team that’s driven by shared goals. It’s motivating to work in an industry I thrive in, while also helping and supporting my colleagues to succeed together.

Life & Spirit
What does life outside work look like?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family at our local sailing club and have a long-standing passion for motor racing. Both give me a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy a mix of family time and fast-paced excitement.
